Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2, 2026

These terms are the agreement between your business and Answered for using answeredreviews.com and the Answered service. By creating an account, you agree to them. We've kept them as plain as we can.

1. Who we are

"Answered," "we" and "us" mean the operator of answeredreviews.com. Operator details: to be added before launch. Contact: hello@answeredreviews.com. "You" means the business that signs up, and the person signing up confirms they're authorized to act for it.

2. What we do

We write replies to your business's online reviews, following the rules you set. For Google, once you connect your Google Business Profile, we post replies on your behalf, or hold them for your approval when your rules say so. For Yelp, we draft replies and email them to you to post yourself, because Yelp doesn't allow outside services to post.

We aim to reply within 24 hours of a review appearing. That's a goal, not a guarantee. Delays at Google, outages, or reviews held for your approval can take longer.

3. Your account

  • Give us accurate information and keep your email current. That's where drafts and billing notices go.
  • You must have the right to manage the Google Business Profile you connect.
  • Keep access to your email and Google account secure. We'll never ask for your passwords.

4. Replies posted on your behalf

  • You authorize us to post replies under your business's name according to your rules. Replies are signed as your business, never as a named person.
  • Your rules control what we may offer. By default, we never offer anything free. If your rules allow discounts or free items, you are responsible for honoring those offers.
  • Reviews that mention things like illness, lawsuits, lawyers, police, the health department, injury or discrimination are never posted automatically. We hold a draft for your approval. You decide whether to post it, and you are responsible for that decision.
  • We write carefully, but we can misread a review or make a mistake. You can edit or delete any reply at any time, and you should tell us if something's wrong so we can fix it and adjust.
  • Our replies are not legal advice. For anything involving a legal claim, talk to your lawyer before approving a reply.

5. Things you agree not to do

  • Use the service to post false, misleading, harassing, discriminatory or unlawful content.
  • Ask us to reveal a reviewer's private information or retaliate against a reviewer.
  • Use the service in a way that breaks Google's or Yelp's rules, including buying, faking or gating reviews.
  • Try to break, overload, copy or reverse-engineer the service.

We can refuse to post any reply we believe breaks these terms, the law, or a platform's rules.

6. Price, billing and cancellation

  • Standard is $79 per month, or $699 per year paid up front. Pro is $119 per month, or $1,190 per year paid up front. Plus any applicable taxes. Prices on our pricing page at the time you sign up apply to your plan.
  • Plans renew automatically until you cancel. We charge the card on file at the start of each period.
  • Cancel any time from your portal (Settings → Billing). Service continues until the end of the period you've paid for, then stops. We don't charge cancellation fees.
  • All payments are final. We don't give refunds, for monthly or yearly plans, full or partial, including if you cancel right after signing up. When you cancel, your plan is not renewed and you keep full service until the last day of the period you already paid for. Your portal shows that end date the moment you cancel.
  • If we change prices, we'll email you at least 30 days before the change applies to your next renewal.
  • If a payment fails, we'll email you. If it isn't fixed within 14 days, we may pause the service.

7. Your data

Your reviews, replies, rules and business information belong to you. You give us permission to use them only to provide and improve the service for you. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information, including Google user data. We don't sell your data and we don't use your Google data to train AI models.

8. Third-party services

The service depends on Google, and on our hosting, email, payment and AI providers. Google and Yelp may change their rules or tools at any time, which can change what we're able to do. We're not responsible for those platforms, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google or Yelp.

9. Changes and availability

We may improve or change the service. If we make a change that materially reduces what you're paying for, we'll tell you in advance so you can cancel before your next renewal. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, with notice when possible.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is." We don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any reply will produce a particular result, such as a changed review or a higher rating.

11. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Answered is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or lost profits or revenue. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Indemnity

If a third party makes a claim against us because of a reply you approved or edited, an offer your rules authorized, or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Idaho, unless we both agree otherwise. Before filing anything, please email us. Most problems can be fixed with a conversation.

14. Changes to these terms

If we update these terms in a meaningful way, we'll email you at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
